This is a strong, black China tea. Renowned for its smoky aroma. This tea is dried above a "cold" pine wood fire to give it the smoky aroma and deep rich flavor.
Lapsang Souchong tea will accept milk and/or sugar well.
Our suggestion: Use approximately 1 teaspoon per every 8oz cup of water. The water temperature should be between 205°F - 212°F (boiling) then steep the tea for 4-5 minutes.
