Our mission is to "reach young people for Christ while instilling in them a respect and desire for the outdoors." We want to see young people come to Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. Getting them involved in the outdoors helps break through walls and tear down barriers, allowing young people to open up and talk about their daily problems.

To provide a seven-day-a-week ministry for children, teens, and adults while offering them the opportunity to experience the great outdoors. Outreach Outdoors hopes to have its own property and facilities within the next five years so we can provide a seven-day-a-week ministry for young people

Outreach Outdoors was founded in 2003 by Scott Phillips, a student minister of 27 years from Florence, AL. Scott has also been an avid outdoorsman since he was nine years old. In the mid to late 90s, Scott started to take his students hunting and fishing and began to see what a difference being involved in God's creation had made in their lives. Scott felt God calling him to start something involving young people in the outdoors. This was when Outreach Outdoors was birthed in 2003.
