About Us
Taylor and I met on a turkey hunt, and on our very first date we made a bet: if we both got a turkey, we’d get married. Somehow (after some very specific prayers), we both walked out of the woods with one that day.
At the time, I was living in Alabama, but not long after, Taylor brought me to Brown County, Indiana and proposed at Bean Blossom Overlook. Afterward, he asked me what I wanted to do next, and I told him I wanted a cup of coffee. He said, “I know JUST the place.”
That place was The Daily Grind.
The second we walked into the little cabin coffee shop in Nashville, Indiana, something about it just felt different, it felt like HOME. Between the cozy atmosphere, Miss Rosemary’s garden outside, and the Bible sitting by the front door, it felt like home before we even realized it.
Not long after that trip, God completely changed the direction of our lives. We packed up, moved states, and took a leap of faith that led us to becoming the owners of The Daily Grind.
What started as a coffee shop quickly became something much more to us. It became a place rooted in faith, community, and slow mornings around a good cup of coffee. Nearly two years later, we still wake up thankful that this little cabin coffee shop became part of our story.
